Both complete papers and paper abstracts will be considered. Paper abstracts may be 1‐2 pages, but must contain sufficient detail to suggest timely completion. Papers to be presented at the ASA are eligible for submission. Provide all authors’ names, organizational affiliations, and email addresses. We welcome submissions of papers in Chinese or English from all scholars, researchers, and graduate students working on or interested in Chinese societies, cultures, and populations in the world. The plan is to have eight sessions convened in a two‐concurrent‐session format, and one plenary session in the afternoon at the end of the conference. We may consider roundtable sessions if the number of submissions is large.
